These 5 day courses have been approved by the European Commissions’ Comenius and Grundtvig programmes, as part of the Life Long Learning Programme (LLP) of the European Commission. The LLP offers in-service training grants to teaching and non-teaching staff working, or currently unemployed, in the field of school education (COMENIUS grants) and adult education (GRUNDTVIG grants).
Comenius or Grundtvig grants cover most or all of the travel costs, course fees, accommodation and meals. Grants are available to participants from the 27 EU Member States (except the host country Finland), plus Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey.

The next application deadline for Comenius and Grundtvig funding is:
30 April 2012 - for training activities starting on or after 1 September 2012
Please send your course pre-registeration form to us by 21 April 2012. Shortly afterwards you will receive the course pre-registration certificate you need to send with your application to your local National Agency.
